The fuel cell uses natural gas to generate electricity and breaks limestone (CaCO₃) down into lime (CaO) and pure carbon dioxide (CO₂).

All of the CO₂ is generated at over 99% purity.

The CO₂ can be used directly or geologically sequestered,
and the lime created in the process absorbs CO₂ from the air to re-form CaCO₃:
