Edward Thompson

After reading science at Oxford, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and working in finance, computing and venture capital Edward has specialised in helping young companies with new ventures.

Edward lead the involvement in the DECC-funded CHOICES district energy project which demonstrates decarbonisation of heating by employing an innovative solar district heating network with seasonal thermal storage in a suburban neighbourhood.

Edward lead the ICAX involvement in the EU-funded Energy Hub project which aimed to demonstrate the full potential of renewable energy by providing 100% on-site renewable energy within an "Energy Hub District".

He specialises in developing appropriate business cases for the delivery of solutions for clients.
